United Systems & Software, Inc. is a technical services firm that specializes in software development, network services and wireless technology. We are recognized as a Microsoft Certified Partner, Itron Business Partner, Cisco Premier Partner and Hewlett-Packard / Compaq Partners.

Our primary area of expertise is software development for local government and billing for utility districts. Our new ALLIANCE™ Windows Suite is developed in Microsoft’s Visual Basic programming language and supports Microsoft’s MSDE or SQL Server relational database engines. This Suite is an integrated accounting system with specialty applications including utility billing software/CIS, municipal management including business licenses, municipal/fund accounting, and property tax billing.

United Systems is staffed by 20+ technology professionals including software developers and engineers, certified network engineers, software support specialists, systems engineers and hardware technicians. Founded in 1977, USS has years of experience in providing solutions for utilities and local government and currently serves over 200 sites using the ALLIANCE™ Windows Suite.

United Systems is also a recognized Itron Business Partner. Itron is the leading wireless technology provider for utility districts and municipalities, offering handheld and mobile AMR systems compatible with meters from all leading meter manufacturers.

Our Network Services Group adds another facet to our in-house technology expertise. Our Network team has experience in the design, configuration, and implementation of Local-Area and Wide-Area Network installations of varied complexity. This experience ranges from simple LAN’s to complex WAN’s linking multiple locations. Installations have also included the setup and configuration of highly available clustered servers. Our fully certified, network engineers are seasoned field veterans, well trained with ample hands-on experience. We are also proud to be recognized as Cisco Systems Premier Partner.

United Systems also offers Internet services through our sister company, Online Kentucky LLC. We offer web development, web site hosting including server collocation, Internet access and Internet mail hosting with virus scanning.
