Asset Management

The ALLIANCE™ Asset Management application provides a means of tracking asset activity from initial acquisition to asset retirement. Primary application functions include the calculation of asset depreciation, generating depreciation schedules, and maintaining historical information on all assets.

• Provides disposal information (e.g. reason, approved by, date, destination)
• Retains asset purchase information including vendor name, invoice number, purchase order number, approved by, and source of funds for the asset purchase
• Allows for the automatic and manual calculation of asset depreciation
• Calculates asset depreciation based on the straight-line method
• Asset depreciation can be calculated upon a user-defined criteria (e.g. monthly, quarterly, annually)
• Keeps historical information for each asset and generates listing for taking periodic inventory of assets
• Provides complete audit trail of all transactions with change logs and transaction posting registers
• Allows for changes to the attributes of an asset including improvements and alterations
• Maintains detailed record of G/L distributions resulting from depreciation of assets
