The ALLIANCE™ General Ledger & Budgeting application is the foundation of the accounting system, which consolidates all financial information. The application provides accurate and up-to-date information that outlines overall financial position and promotes sound decision-making.
New Application Features Include:
- Easy Navigation. Windows applications, in general, are more intuitive and offer many advantages maneuvering throughout an application. We have taken this a step further by designing our Windows applications to mimic the use of the ‘Enter’ key in DOS. Unlike many Windows applications, we ease the transition to Windows by supporting the ‘Enter’ key usage.
- Data Entry Simplified. Users can specify default answers to speed data entry during account setup. For example, defaults entries can be set-up for Fund, Department, Object/Source, etc..
- Flexible Financial Statement Set-up. Allows for unlimited, user-designed financial statements in assorted versions …summarized and highly detailed formats.
- Improved Budget Management. New functionality simplifies budget set-up & transition to new periods as well as budget line item amendments. Security and tracking within the budget management process has also been improved.
- Software Design- All of the ALLIANCE™ applications were developed utilizing a three-tiered architecture and object-oriented approach with Visual Basic as the programming language.
Search Quickly
Virtually any data element can be searched! In this example, click the Account you are looking for in the list and it will appear at the bottom of the screen! Click "OK" and the Account is loaded in the drop-down list.
Ease the Budgeting and Appropriations process
Assign an annual amount to be budgeted to the account. The amount will automatically be distributed to Budget periods. If the amount entered is not evenly divisible the remainder is placed in the last period
